Danielle Scarmazzo
Director of Business Engagement
Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Danielle developed an early appreciation for the role local businesses play in shaping a community’s identity and sense of connection. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island and spending several years in Metro Atlanta, she returned to Maine with a renewed commitment to supporting the people and businesses that make communities stronger.
Danielle is the founder of Next Landing, a job board connecting small businesses with local talent. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs grow while creating opportunities for people to build meaningful careers close to home.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys exploring Maine’s antique shops and helping her husband restore their 1820s farmhouse. She believes preserving the character of a place means investing in its people, businesses, and traditions.
