Happy Knits is a welcoming, community-centered yarn shop offering quality materials, helpful guidance, and a comfortable place for knitters and crocheters to gather. Happy Knits has remained part of Skowhegan’s small-business community because a group of loyal customers stepped forward when the shop’s previous owner considered closing. Rather than lose their local yarn store, they became its new owners and continued its tradition of creativity, craftsmanship, and community connection.
